Stephanie Weldon

My experience and design knowledge comes from ‘doing it’, not just imagining what it’s like to have this or that as a feature in my work areas at home. With 6 children, and having lived in 12 homes during my adult life, I am able to combine my design experience with creativity in very practical ways.

My youngest child is 9 years old, the eldest is 27 - so that’s more than 2 decade’s worth of birthday parties, heavy laundry days, 3 kids in the bath evenings, and let’s not overlook the unable-to-be-counted family dinners I’ve cooked. I’ve been a working mum for many of these years too, and have lived in large homes, and small... I bring all that knowledge and experience to every room I design - and I LOVE how these things come together, and the way my clients rave about the little extra things that come from my ability to think about what really goes on in the homes we live in.

Fundamentally, I love beauty and practicality. Form really should follow function, but I also believe it should be created with the unique personality and lifestyle requirements of my clients.

Stephanie is a specialist in the design of Wet Areas i.e: bathrooms, laundries and kitchens; bathrooms being a particular specialty. Experienced in design consultation, concept, specifications and overall project management Stephanie combines innovative design with the practical demands of family living spaces.
