A conceptual home with a focus on sustainable living

The leaders in New Zealand’s design industry will collaborate on this "Design at its Best" project, a New Zealand holiday home. This conceptual home will be built in the Arena Pavilion.

Project-managed by Hamilton’s award-winning interior designer Paula Hassard from Rooms Design, "Design at its Best" is guaranteed to be a crowd-pleasing feature of this year’s Waikato Home & Garden Show. The display is intended to be stylish and future-forward yet affordable and realistic. A fresh take on home design - inspiring yet achievable. Tomorrow’s dream home made possible today, focusing on sustainable living. The home brings together an assemblage of natural products including timber, metals, linens and textures, and presents an exciting design edge. To complement the organic focus, Paula is also endeavouring to show quirky new innovative products, including tiling and flooring, beautiful wallpapers and fabrics. “A lot of new products are being launched,” she says. “They are very cool, and groundbreaking.”

"Design at its Best" is proud to be supported by eHaus, designed for sustainable living, taking care of the environment without sacrificing the comforts of everyday life. This topical philosophy will combine with the latest interior products, innovations in tiling, on trend wall coverings, extraordinary lighting and imaginative furniture solutions whilst embracing an organic approach.
