Every year Kalex Wines comes all the way from Central Otago to showcase their portfolio of wines at the Home Show and give the Waikato public an opportunity to sample and buy a great range of wines including some of world's finest Central Otgao pinot noir.

The quality of their wines is derived from the immaculate standards of winemaker Theo Coles, whose unique yet classical approach to winemaking yields the detailed expressions of the company's hand-picked sites. Theo’s patience and rare sensory discernment produces romantic, complex wines which are full of character and stand out from the crowd. Take time out and visit the Kalex Wines and Eatery in the new Brooklyn Gardens.

Kalex Wines will be matched with a menu from Ekhaya. New to the show, the exciting food truck-style business from Taupo is run by South African couple, Morgen Kuch and Glen Robberts, a qualified chef who has worked in some top restaurants in South Africa and New Zealand.

Starting his new food truck business was an opportunity to get outside the kitchen and have more autonomy in menu choices. Taking its name from Zulu meaning 'at home', Ekhaya specialises in modern, fresh-made eclectic food that is a joy to eat. Gluten-free, vegetarian and dairy free dietary requirements are catered for where possible.
