Who We Are
We are a small family owned business making traditional wooden gates and fences. We are situated in the beautiful Kauaeranga Valley near Thames.
We can make and install gates and fences anywhere in Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Auckland and can courier Gates to any other part of the country.
Our Gates
Our gates are generally made from either H 3.2 pine or cedar. They can be made from other timbers if required, Kwila, Macrocarpa and Totara are popular alternatives. Please let us know if you have a preference.
We use traditional mortise and tenon joinery for the framing. This joint has been used for hundreds of years for good reason. It is the best and strongest way to join two pieces of timber. The paneling is generally tongue and groove, but can be straight slated timber, flat or raised panels or an alternative material, such as corrugated iron. You are limited only by your imagination.
